Greater Bethel Apostolic Church, established in 1923 by Elder and Sister Daisy Jones in Canton, Ohio, has served as an independent Apostolic congregation for over a century. The church traces its origins to street revivals on Rex Avenue and 9th Street, where Elder Jones preached water baptism in the name of Jesus and the receiving of the Holy Ghost, eventually establishing a tent church on Cherry Avenue. Today, Greater Bethel welcomes all who desire to worship, with a focus on both receiving and giving within their faith community. The church operates independently, which allows flexibility in their ministry approach and outreach. Regular activities include weekly prayer services, interactive Bible study, monthly ministry prayer gatherings, and youth fellowship events.
