About Holy Trinity Lutheran Church
Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, founded in 1806, is one of Ohio's oldest active Lutheran congregations and a vibrant community of more than 200 members in Canton. Affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, the church occupies a beautiful sanctuary dating to 1899, featuring stained glass windows and traditional architectural elements. The congregation offers two distinct Sunday worship services—a traditional Lutheran liturgy at 8:30 a.m. and a contemporary celebration of praise service at 10:30 a.m.—with Holy Communion available at every service. Sunday School classes for children ages three and older and adults meet throughout the academic year, while the church provides numerous opportunities for spiritual growth, fellowship, and community outreach. Holy Trinity welcomes visitors of all ages and backgrounds to experience their dynamic worship, inspired learning, and inclusive hospitality.

Service Format: Two Sunday services offered at 8:30 a.m. (traditional Lutheran liturgy) and 10:30 a.m. (contemporary praise service with guitar, drums, and keyboard), both held in the sanctuary with Holy Communion offered at every service. Visitor Tips: Children of all ages are welcome at any service; a "crying room" is available at the back of the sanctuary for families with small children, and Sunday School classes are offered during the 10:30 a.m. service from September through May.
