About Tree City Preschool
Tree City Preschool is a ministry of the United Methodist Church of Kent, established in 1967 to provide quality educational experiences for children ages three through five. The program serves the community by supporting emotional, intellectual, physical, spiritual, and social development during these formative years. Classes meet in the Education Wing of the church on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday during the school year, from September through mid-May. The preschool is licensed by the State of Ohio and employs teachers holding at least a bachelor's degree, maintaining teacher-to-student ratios well below state requirements. The facility is handicapped accessible and includes a fenced playground and full-size gymnasium. Families can choose from flexible class schedules ranging from morning-only to full-day options.
