About Great Lakes Church
Great Lakes Church is a non-denominational congregation located in Lorain, Ohio, dedicated to honoring God and serving others. The church describes itself as a welcoming community for seekers, wanderers, and those exploring faith, grounded in the teachings and way of life that Jesus modeled. Gatherings occur Sunday mornings at 10 a.m. for a 75-minute service in a laid-back, family-friendly atmosphere where visitors are invited to grab coffee and participate. The church emphasizes grace, truth, and the redemptive power of Jesus's death and resurrection, while actively engaging with their city and standing in solidarity with marginalized communities. Great Lakes Kids Ministry serves children ages six weeks through fifth grade during Sunday services, and Illuminate Student Ministry connects teens in grades six through twelve. Whether you are new to faith, returning to church, or seeking community rooted in Jesus's example, Great Lakes Church invites you to experience their welcoming sanctuary.
