About St Geo Russian Orthodox Church
St. George Russian Orthodox Church in Loveland, Ohio is a parish of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia under the Diocese of Chicago and Mid-America. The parish was established in 1988 by a small group of faithful Orthodox Christians from Cincinnati who sought to maintain Russian Orthodox tradition and the traditional calendar. The community has grown to include Orthodox Christians from diverse ethnic backgrounds including Russians, Ukrainians, Belorussians, Georgians, Romanians, Moldovans, and Greeks. After decades of worship in a converted Reformed church building in Blue Ash, the parish completed construction of a new dedicated church building in Loveland in 2013, which now serves as a center for traditional Orthodox worship and community life.
