Churches in Milan, OH

For a first visit, it is worth checking directly with the church before Sunday, since few churches share Sunday service times publicly. If you are visiting with children, look especially for the congregation that mentions kids ministry, and ask what ages it serves and whether children stay in worship for part of the service. Traditional worship appears in more than one church, so if that matters to you, ask what the service usually includes. Because youth groups and small groups are not commonly noted, visitors hoping for those ministries should contact the church office or speak with someone after worship to learn what is currently active.

What stands out is the range of traditions in a relatively compact church landscape. A Quaker congregation, an Anglican church, a Catholic parish, a Baptist church, and an Apostolic church give seekers distinct starting points. Milan Friends Church and Holy Trinity Anglican Church both describe themselves in terms of serving the community, which gives the city’s church life a grounded, local feel.
