About St Bernadette Church
St. Bernadette Parish in Westlake, Ohio has been serving the Catholic community since its establishment in November 1950 under the patronage of Saint Bernadette. Founded by Archbishop Hoban with Rev. Joseph C. Dempsey as the first pastor, the parish grew rapidly from its initial 250 families and expanded significantly through the construction of additional school buildings in the 1950s. Today, under the leadership of Father Philip G. Racco, the parish commits itself to refreshing participation in the liturgy through attentive listening to God's Word, communal prayer and song, and reverent reception of the Eucharist. The parish also pledges to work for justice and to be instruments of healing within families and the broader community, welcoming all who seek a spiritual home and opportunities to grow in faith.

Service Format: Sunday Mass is offered at 8:30 AM and 10:30 AM, with Saturday Vigil at 5:00 PM; weekday Masses are available Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 9:00 AM, and Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday at 8:00 AM. Sunday Mass at 10:30 AM is live streamed for those unable to attend in person. Visitor Tips: Reconciliation is available Saturday from 4:00 to 4:45 PM.
