About Unity of Beaverton Church
Unity of Beaverton has served the Beaverton, Hillsboro, and Southwest Portland communities since 1937, originally founded as the Church of Truth and Metaphysical Library. The congregation practices what they call Practical Christianity, drawing on the metaphysical teachings of Charles Fillmore and emphasizing affirmative prayer and spiritual growth through connection with Divine presence. Led by Rev. Evin Wilkins and a congregation-led board, the church welcomes all people regardless of path, creed, or orientation, fostering a community centered on celebration, inspiration, and meaningful fellowship. Sunday services at 10:00 a.m. feature songs, messages of hope, and community gathering, offered both in-person and online. Beyond weekly services, Unity of Beaverton offers classes, prayer support through their Prayer Team and Silent Unity, special events including concerts, and various opportunities for spiritual discovery and growth.
