About Word & Spirit International Church
Word & Spirit International Church is a non-denominational, Spirit-filled congregation founded in June 2011 in Eugene, Oregon, under the leadership of Lead Pastors John and Helen Torres. The church began with 75 people gathered at a local hotel and grew through several physical locations before transitioning to a fully virtual ministry in September 2022. Currently operating with its base in Las Vegas, Nevada, the church emphasizes the role of the Holy Spirit, speaking in tongues, and biblical teaching rooted in the infallible authority of Scripture. The congregation maintains a commitment to community fellowship, worship, evangelism, and equipping believers for ministry through apostolic, prophetic, pastoral, and teaching ministries.
