About St Innocent's Orthodox Church
St. Innocent's Orthodox Church in Gold Hill, Oregon is a small but spiritually vibrant parish of the Eastern Orthodox Church that traces its roots to 1982 as a house church in Medford. The current church building, dedicated to Saint Innocent of Irkutsk, was completed and approved for occupancy in December 2022 through the combined efforts of parish members, volunteer craftsmen, and generous donations from the local and global community. Led by Father Joshua, the parish maintains traditional Orthodox worship and ethos while conducting all services in English to serve its primarily American convert membership. The church is part of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia (R.O.C.O.R.) and emphasizes the preservation of apostolic tradition while fostering values of faith, family, and community for future generations.
