About Erie United Methodist Alliance
Erie United Methodist Alliance is a Methodist organization based in Erie, Pennsylvania, dedicated to ending homelessness in Northwest Pennsylvania through shelter, housing, and supportive services. Since its formation in 1888 as a fellowship of Erie Methodist churches, EUMA has evolved into a comprehensive ministry operating The Refuge emergency shelter for families with children, Liberty House transitional housing for veterans, rapid re-housing programs, permanent supportive housing units, and Our Neighbors' Place seasonal shelter. Grounded in Methodist values of compassion, stewardship, and service, EUMA partners with local churches and community organizations to provide housing, healthcare integration, and support for individuals and families experiencing homelessness, including youth aging out of foster care.
