About Berrytown Wesleyan Church
Berrytown Wesleyan Church is a historic congregation in Gillett, Pennsylvania with roots reaching back to 1860, when the Wesleyan Methodist movement first organized a class in the area. The church building itself, constructed in 1892 under the ministry of Reverend J. S. French, stands as a testament to the community's enduring commitment to faith and fellowship. The congregation gathers for worship each Sunday at 9:30 am, where the service blends traditional hymns with contemporary songs and features biblical, applicable teaching. Beyond Sunday morning worship, the church offers Wednesday Bible Study and Prayer at 10:00 am and a monthly Youth Group, creating opportunities for learning, connection, and spiritual growth throughout the week.
