Churches in Gillett, PA

For a first visit, it is wise to check directly with the church before Sunday, since only a few churches share Sunday service times. If you are visiting with children or teens, ask ahead about kids ministry or youth group options, since those are available at some congregations but not across every church. Small groups are also part of church life in at least one place, which may be helpful if you are hoping to get connected beyond Sunday worship. Bentley Creek Wesleyan Church’s emphasis on connecting with God, growing faith, and serving others may be a good fit for someone looking for a welcoming next step.

What stands out is the steady presence of Baptist and Wesleyan traditions, with churches describing themselves in grounded, community-focused ways. Gillett Baptist Church serves the local community, Bentley Creek Baptist Church emphasizes Christian principles and fellowship, and Bentley Creek Wesleyan Church uses the warm phrase “the Stone Church with the Warm Heart.” Berrytown Wesleyan Church also adds a notable historic thread to the area’s church life.
