Churches in Honesdale, PA

For a Sunday visit, expect most known service times to fall in the morning, with some beginning before midmorning and others later in the 10–11 AM window. Traditional worship is the most commonly noted style, while contemporary worship appears in a smaller number of places. Families may want to look closely at churches with kids ministry, and teens may find youth group options at several congregations. A couple of churches note small groups, which can be helpful if you are hoping to meet people beyond Sunday worship. There is also a Wednesday gathering noted at one church, so midweek connection may be possible depending on where you visit.

What stands out is the mix of long-established traditions and churches with focused ministry language. Grace Episcopal Church is described with historic roots, while New Hope Pentecostal Church emphasizes equipping believers for ministry and spiritual growth. Child Evangelism Fellowship points especially toward children and families. Across the city, traditional worship is common, but there are also practical paths for families, youth, and people seeking smaller group connection.
