About Mt Zion United Church-Christ
Mt Zion United Church-Christ in Lebanon gathers Sunday mornings at 10:00 to worship and learn about Jesus and his teachings. The congregation describes itself as “The Big Little Church,” reflecting a small-church identity with a long local history. Its roots go back to 1853, when Samuel Goshert donated the land. Over time, the church expanded its space for ministry, including a basement dug out in 1899 for Sunday school services, east washrooms added in 1963, and a narthex with new Sunday school rooms added in 2007. Current programs include children’s ministry, youth group, and small groups.
