Zion Apostolic Assembly of McKeesport, founded in 2006 by Pastor Karen Bell-Garland, is an Apostolic church dedicated to reaching lost souls and building up the Kingdom of God. The church emphasizes encouraging and empowering believers to be strong in the Lord while extending outreach to hurting individuals, those struggling with addiction, and disenfranchised communities. Pastor Garland brings over 20 years of experience in drug and alcohol counseling and clinical supervision, and the church reflects her passion for wholeness and healing through the preaching and teaching of God's Word. The congregation offers Sunday School, morning worship services, and weekly Bible study and prayer meetings, creating a space where visitors of all backgrounds are regarded as precious in God's sight. Zion also operates the Zion Theological Institute in cooperation with Oral Roberts University, training church leaders and ministers.
