About Holy Trinity Orthodox Church
Holy Trinity Orthodox Church is a welcoming Orthodox parish located in State College, Pennsylvania, just three blocks west of campus between College and Beaver Avenues. Founded in 1980 as a campus ministry, the church has grown from a small group of 16 souls in 1993 to a vibrant community of over 200 adults and children. The parish is known for its strong commitment to campus ministry through the Orthodox Christian Fellowship, its comprehensive Sunday School program, and its outreach initiatives through Trinity House Ministry Center. Holy Trinity emphasizes the centrality of prayer and liturgical worship in Orthodox Christian life, offering daily, weekly, and yearly cycles of services that incorporate believers into the mystery of Christ. The community is also dedicated to discipleship and service, partnering with area charitable and civic organizations to bring the light and love of Christ to the Penn State community and beyond.
