About Boehm's Church
Boehm’s Church is a historic Methodist congregation in Willow Street with roots reaching back to 1775, when a Methodist Class Meeting formed in the home of Eve and Rev. Martin Boehm. Boehm’s Chapel was built in 1791 and is described as the first Methodist church building in Lancaster County. The congregation now worships in the New Church, which includes an education wing and Fellowship Hall. Pastor Manny P. Cruz, Jr. has served Boehm’s UMC since July 2023. Worship is held Sundays at 10:30 a.m., with in-person and YouTube options, and small groups are part of the church’s life.
