About Boehm's Church

Boehm's Church is a historic Methodist congregation located in Willow Street, Pennsylvania, with roots tracing back to 1775 when a Methodist class meeting formed in the home of Eve and Reverend Martin Boehm. The church built its first structure, Boehm's Chapel, in 1791—making it the first Methodist church building in Lancaster County and now the oldest existing structure built for Methodist worship in Pennsylvania. Today, the congregation gathers in the main church building for Sunday worship at 10:30 a.m., offering both in-person and online services via YouTube. Led by Reverend Manny P. Cruz, Jr., the church is committed to inviting people into a saving relationship with Jesus Christ, walking together as disciples, and serving their community. The congregation welcomes visitors and emphasizes that everyone is welcome to come as they are to experience their worship community.
