Boehm's Chapel is a historic United Methodist Church located in Willow Street, Pennsylvania, built in 1791 as the first Methodist Church in Lancaster County and the fourth oldest Methodist structure in the nation. Situated on land originally purchased by Swiss Mennonites, the chapel has served as a spiritual refuge and community landmark throughout its more than two centuries of existence. As an official heritage landmark of the United Methodist Church, Boehm's Chapel played a significant role in the Second Great Awakening during the early history of the United States. Today, the church welcomes all visitors and continues its legacy of faith and service while offering worship services, weddings, confirmation classes, seminars, and historic tours. The Boehm's Chapel Society actively preserves this beautiful space and invites the community to engage with its rich spiritual and cultural heritage.
