Churches in Worthington, PA

For a first visit, it is worth checking directly with the church before Sunday, since few churches share Sunday service times openly. If worship style matters to you, traditional worship is noted at some churches, especially among congregations with a more familiar Baptist or mainline feel. Families may want to ask about kids ministry or youth group options, since those programs are present but not widespread. Small groups are also part of the picture at one church, which can be helpful if you are hoping to connect beyond Sunday worship. A simple call or message ahead of time should help you know where to enter, what to expect, and whether a program is meeting that week.

What stands out is the steady focus on discipleship, worship, and community support. Worthington Baptist Church emphasizes traditional Baptist worship and discipleship, while Worthington Presbyterian Church speaks clearly about growing disciples and servant leaders. Craigsville United Methodist Church adds a care-oriented presence through spiritual guidance and community support. The churches here feel centered on practical faith and local connection.
