Founded in 1956 as a mission Sunday School, the church was officially constituted in 1962 and has grown to serve both islanders and visitors from around the world. The church emphasizes teaching and preaching God's Word through various ministries including traditional and contemporary worship services, Sunday School for all ages, children's programs like Awana, and active mission work both locally and globally. Under the leadership of Pastor Brett Myers since 2018, the church is mission-minded and focused on making disciples who make disciples.
