First Presbyterian Church in Spartanburg is a vibrant, Christ-centered community rooted in nearly two centuries of faithful ministry in the heart of South Carolina's Upstate region. Founded in 1843 by eight Presbyterians who gathered in a home on Main Street, the church has grown into a welcoming congregation dedicated to knowing and sharing the transformative love of Jesus Christ through worship, service, and discipleship.
