About Saints Cyril & Methodius
Saints Cyril & Methodius is an Orthodox Christian parish established in 1973 and located on the Town Square in downtown Summerville, South Carolina, approximately 25 miles northwest of Charleston. The parish serves a diverse community representing many cultures and national backgrounds, including Americans, Russians, Ukrainians, Romanians, Bulgarians, Greeks, and Serbs. Services are celebrated primarily in English with some Church Slavonic and Greek, held on Sundays, Wednesdays, and Saturday evenings, with additional services for Great Feast days and commemorations of saints throughout the Church year. Under the jurisdiction of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia, the parish welcomes all who seek to experience Orthodox Christian worship and community.
