About Rockville Presbyterian Church
Rockville Presbyterian Church has served Wadmalaw Island since 1850 as a family of faith seeking to make Jesus Christ their way of life. The congregation describes its calling as serving the good of the Sea Islands and the glory of God, with a desire to be used by God through Jesus Christ in the expansion of his kingdom on Wadmalaw and beyond. Rockville is a confessional Presbyterian congregation, agreeing with the Westminster Confession of Faith, the Shorter Catechism, and the Larger Catechism. After a season of outdoor worship during the COVID-19 pandemic, the church moved services back indoors.
