Plymouth Congregational United Church of Christ in Aberdeen, South Dakota, traces its roots to 1889 when a small group first gathered in the Opera House, eventually establishing their congregation by 1890. The church relocated to its current modern, fully accessible facility at 431 W Melgaard Road in 1970, where it continues to serve as a welcoming community for people of all ages and stages of life. Led by Rev. Blair Kirkpatrick, Plymouth is known for living out its motto of Reaching Out to the Community in Kindness and Spirit, combining worship and service to both the congregation and the broader Aberdeen community.
