Zion Lutheran Church is a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) in Aberdeen, South Dakota, with a rich history spanning more than 130 years. Founded in 1882, the church has grown from its humble beginnings to become a strong family of God rooted in its community. The congregation currently worships in a building dedicated in 1953 with a beautiful addition completed in 1995, located at South Main Street and Melgaard Road. Under the pastoral leadership of Reverend Nicole Martin and a dedicated staff, Zion cultivates communities of caring and belonging as champions of the Gospel through worship, baptisms, weddings, funerals, and various faith-building ministries.
