Dress Code: Dress appropriately and modestly as you stand before God. Avoid shorts, mini-skirts, tank tops, and low-cut or strapless dresses unless covered. Men should not wear head coverings in the worship space, though some Orthodox women wear head coverings if desired. Service Format: The Sunday Divine Liturgy of Saint John Chrysostom runs approximately two hours and features nearly all congregational a capella singing in prayerful harmony. The service includes Gospel readings, processions, and concludes with a coffee hour for fellowship. Weekday services include Daily Vespers (Wednesday evenings, 45 minutes) and Great Vespers (Saturday evenings, 50-60 minutes). Visitor Tips: Upon arrival, seek out a parishioner in the Narthex who will welcome you and guide you through the space. Printed service texts are available on the right wall before entering the Nave. Following the service, join the coffee hour to meet parishioners and the priest at your own pace—social interaction is optional.
