About Second Mile Mission Center
Second Mile Mission Center is a Christian service organization based in Missouri City, Texas, dedicated to demonstrating the love of Jesus through physical and spiritual care for neighbors experiencing material poverty or crisis. Founded in 1990 by a group of concerned community members who began by paying utility bills and distributing collected food, Second Mile has grown into a comprehensive nonprofit offering food assistance, clothing, financial aid, job training, and spiritual support. The organization serves hundreds of families each week through its Park & Pickup program, mobile pantry events, community food fairs, the Equip2Grow educational program, and the Opportunity Shop resale store. With a commitment to 97.7% program spending and deep community partnerships, Second Mile welcomes volunteers and supporters to join in helping local families work toward stable, purpose-fulfilling futures.

For volunteer opportunities, check in at the front left entrance facing Beltway 8 and Dream Court.
