About St Mary's Catholic Church
St. Mary Catholic Church in Temple has served the parish community since 1883. Fr. Will Rooney has served as pastor since July 2023. The parish describes the Mass as the heart of its life together, with worship shaped by the Catholic liturgy, sacred music, congregational singing, and the Church’s chant tradition. St. Mary’s Catholic School is also part of the parish community, connecting parish life with Catholic education for local families. Mass is offered throughout the week, including a Saturday vigil and two Sunday morning Masses.
