About Presbyterian Campus Ministry At Cooper House
Presbyterian Campus Ministry at Virginia Tech, formerly known as Cooper House, is a vibrant faith community for students seeking to follow Christ with energy, intelligence, imagination, and love. Gathering every Tuesday evening at Cooper House on Washington Street, the ministry welcomes students from all backgrounds and walks of life for homecooked meals, creative worship, prayer, small group discussion, and fellowship. The community is intentionally welcoming and affirming, celebrating LGBTQIA+ members, committing to anti-racism work, and inviting students with doubts and hard questions to bring their whole selves. Beyond Tuesday gatherings, the ministry offers Bible studies, retreat experiences at Camp Alta Mons, service projects with local nonprofits, and participation in the Montreat College Conference, all supported by a network of four partner Presbyterian churches.
