About Grace & Holy Trinity Episcopal Church
Grace & Holy Trinity Church is an inclusive, life-transforming Episcopal parish located in downtown Richmond at 8 North Laurel Street, adjacent to the Altria Theater on the Virginia Commonwealth University Monroe Park Campus. The church is committed to fostering an affirming, Christ-centered connection with the diverse community of downtown Richmond. Sunday worship services include Holy Eucharist, Rite One at 8:00 a.m. in the chapel and Holy Eucharist, Rite Two at 10:30 a.m. in the main church, with the latter also available via livestream. The parish welcomes families and offers nursery care for infants, Sunday school for children in pre-K through second grade, parish breakfast at 9:00 a.m., and a coffee hour following the 10:30 service. Grace & Holy Trinity also hosts weekday services and community outreach programs including the Red Door Ministry lunch and prayer service on Fridays.

Dress Code: Some parishioners wear a dress or suit and tie, while others choose business casual attire. Service Format: Worship services are rooted in liturgical traditions and follow The Book of Common Prayer, including New and Old Testament readings, hymns, prayers, a sermon, confession and assurance of forgiveness, and the Holy Eucharist; all baptized Christians regardless of denomination are welcome to receive communion. Visitor Tips: Ushers will greet you at the entrance with service bulletins; pews include Books of Common Prayer and hymnals; the library is available if young children become fussy; handicapped parking is available in front of the church on N. Laurel Street and free Sunday parking is available at the VCU West Main Street Parking Deck one block away with QR code validation from the Sunday bulletin.
