About Interfaith Center Virginia
Virginia Interfaith Center for Public Policy is the largest non-partisan, interfaith advocacy organization in Virginia, based in Richmond. Founded in 1982 by religious leaders including Presbyterian, Episcopal, and Catholic clergy, the organization unites people of all faiths and goodwill to advocate for justice, equity, and the common good across the Commonwealth. With over 25,000 members and affiliated faith congregations throughout the state, the Center focuses on four major priorities: health equity, economic justice, criminal justice reform, affordable housing, and civic engagement. The organization engages in education, prayer, and action to advance economic, racial, and social justice through legislative advocacy, community organizing, and statewide voter engagement campaigns.
