About Madina Islamic Center
Madina Islamic Center is a welcoming, inclusive Islamic organization serving the Muslim community in Springfield, Virginia. Operating from a facility at 6805 Backlick Road, MIC has grown significantly to offer comprehensive programs including daily prayers, Jummah services at multiple times, children's classes, Quranic studies, Arabic instruction, youth counseling, and community support services. The center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit governed by a board of directors and supported by dedicated committees. MIC's vision centers on creating a nurturing, youth-focused community that fosters spiritual, educational, and recreational growth for families across generations. The organization is actively working toward establishing a permanent facility to better serve the expanding needs of the community.

Dress Code: Modest dress is typical for Islamic services; women often wear headscarves and men wear traditional or business attire. Service Format: Jummah (Friday prayers) are offered at 12:30 PM, 1:30 PM, 2:30 PM, and 3:30 PM, with Iqamah beginning within 15 minutes of these times; five daily prayers are also available.
