Churches in Ellensburg, WA

For a first Sunday visit, you’ll find both contemporary and traditional worship represented, so it helps to choose by feel as much as denomination. Among churches with shared Sunday schedules, starts range from before 9 AM to late morning, with many options clustered between 9 and 11. Families can look for congregations with kids ministry or youth group, both of which are common across the city, and a few churches also offer small groups for connection beyond Sunday. If midweek rhythm matters to you, at least one congregation has a Wednesday gathering. Visitors who prefer liturgy might look toward Grace Episcopal Church, while those seeking Spirit-filled worship may consider New Life Assembly.

What stands out is the range: established denominational churches, Spirit-filled Assemblies of God congregations, liturgical worship, and student-focused ministry all have a place here. Several churches emphasize welcome, community, Christian living, or spiritual growth, and many provide space for children and youth. Chi Alpha Christian Fellowship adds a clear campus-ministry presence centered on community, worship, and biblical study.
