Churches in Kelso, WA

For a first visit, it is wise to check directly with the church before Sunday, since few churches share Sunday service times. Traditional worship is the most commonly noted style where worship style is described, so visitors who appreciate a familiar order of worship may find several good fits. Families can also look for churches with kids ministry, and a smaller number mention youth group or small groups. First United Methodist Church is described as welcoming new visitors, while Spirit of Life Church of God welcomes visitors seeking spiritual fellowship and worship. If you are unsure where to start, choose a church whose tradition feels familiar, then reach out ahead of time about service details and children’s options.

What stands out is the mix of long-established Christian traditions and churches that speak clearly about welcome, discipleship, and community. Kelso United Methodist Presbyterian Church brings Methodist and Presbyterian life together, while Journey Seventh-day Adventist Church welcomes all people into a community devoted to making disciples of Jesus Christ. Across the city, several churches also make room for families through kids ministry, with youth and small-group options available in some congregations.
