About First Presbyterian Church of Spokane
First Presbyterian Church of Spokane is a vibrant intergenerational community that has served the downtown area and surrounding neighborhoods for over 125 years. Located in a beautiful 110-year-old sanctuary, the church is a member of the PC(USA) and welcomes all people regardless of age, gender, sexual orientation, background, or immigration status. The congregation emphasizes two core values: being internally strong in faith while remaining externally focused on community service and witness. With a mission to embody and demonstrate Jesus in fruitful relationship with God and others, First Pres offers rich opportunities for faith formation through children's and youth ministries, adult classes and small groups, and numerous summer affinity groups centered on shared interests and activities. The church maintains an active presence in its neighborhood, working alongside local organizations and serving those in need.
