About Saint Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church
Founded in 1924 by Greek immigrant families, St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church serves the Tacoma community with deep roots in Orthodox tradition while welcoming all individuals seeking spiritual growth, regardless of ethnicity or background. The parish proclaims and teaches the Gospel through worship, the Divine Liturgy, and other sacraments, aiming to sanctify the faithful and enhance their spiritual lives. Led by Fr. Anthony Cornett since February 2023, the church honors its Hellenic heritage while providing a community centered on healing, refuge, and hope. The parish includes lifelong Orthodox Christians as well as those newly joining the faith through instruction, baptism, and chrismation.
