About Congregation Kol Ami
Congregation Kol Ami is a welcoming and egalitarian Reform Jewish congregation of approximately 130 families located in Kirkland, Washington. The community embraces an inclusive approach to Jewish life, actively welcoming interfaith families, LGBTQ individuals and families, Jews-by-choice, empty-nesters, and visitors of all backgrounds. Led by Rabbi Kinberg, the congregation nurtures an atmosphere of openness and friendship, encouraging members to discover, rediscover, or affirm their Jewish roots through programming and services. Kol Ami operates under the URJ Sacred Partnership model, emphasizing respect, trust, honesty, and transparent communication within the community. The congregation offers family-friendly services, including a new monthly Family Shabbat experience on the first Friday of each month, designed to be engaging for children and meaningful for all ages.
