Saint Spyridon Greek Orthodox Church has been a beacon of Orthodox Christianity in North Central West Virginia for over 100 years, founded in 1918 by Greek immigrants seeking a new home and spiritual community. The parish is dedicated to proclaiming the Gospel of Christ and maintaining the purity of Christian faith and the richness of Apostolic tradition passed down through the centuries. Under the leadership of Fr. Stelyios Muksuris, an accomplished liturgical scholar and priest of 27 years, the church welcomes all to experience Orthodox Christian worship and community life. The parish remains committed to energizing and guiding the spiritual life of its congregation according to Orthodox Christian faith and Sacred Tradition, while sharing its blessings with others in the region.
