Dress Code: Avoid wearing anything distracting such as clothing that is too short, too tight, too casual, revealing, or with words or logos; dress modestly and respectfully as you would for a business meeting, showing respect to God's presence. Service Format: Saturday Great Vespers begins at 5:00pm; Sunday services include Matins (Morning Prayers) at 8:45am and Divine Liturgy at 10:00am. Worship is chanted and sung primarily in English with occasional portions in Arabic, Greek, Slavonic, or Georgian. Much of the service involves standing, with the sign of the cross made frequently throughout. Visitor Tips: Arrive at any point during the service without concern; worshippers enter continuously from the beginning through the early Liturgy. Children are welcome and participate with the entire community. Don't worry about learning the gestures and responses—observe and participate at your own pace. Expect icons, candles, incense, and personal prayer throughout the service, which may seem different from other Christian traditions but reflects deeply personal faith.
