About First Unitarian Society
First Unitarian Society of Madison is an independent, non-creedal faith community located at 900 University Bay Drive in Madison, Wisconsin. This theologically diverse congregation welcomes spiritual seekers of all backgrounds, embracing people with different beliefs, identities, and perspectives. The church is known for its commitment to inclusiveness, hospitality, and social justice work, drawing inspiration from the world's great spiritual traditions, science, and humanism. With both a historic Frank Lloyd Wright-designed Meeting House and modern worship spaces, the community offers three weekend services during the academic year and features innovative religious education for children and meaningful adult spiritual programs. Service Format: Three weekend services are offered seasonally: Saturdays at 4:30 pm and Sundays at 9 am and 11 am (September through May), with childcare and a Baby Haven room provided during worship. Visitor Tips: The church is located across from UW Hospital with parking available; both worship spaces are accessible and connected by a center hallway.
