About Glenwood Moravian Community Church

Founded in 1929 by Otto Heise and fellow Moravians who began meeting in his home, the congregation has grown from 50 members to a vibrant community that now draws from many different Christian traditions. The church emphasizes the Moravian motto: "In Essentials Unity, In Non-Essentials Liberty, In All Things Love." Through worship, Bible study, music ministries including the renowned Glenwood Trombone Choir, and active outreach such as monthly service at The Luke House, the congregation embodies Jesus's inclusive welcome and expansive love.
