About Our Savior Deaf Lutheran Church
Our Savior Deaf Lutheran Church in Madison, Wisconsin is part of World Lutheran Deaf Outreach, a ministry dedicated to sharing the Gospel with Deaf and Hard of Hearing individuals through visually accessible teaching materials and training. The church operates as a center for Deaf outreach and discipleship, working alongside pastors Rev. William "Bud" Palmer and Rev. Dr. John Reinke to train both Deaf and hearing people to share Christ's love in ways that are culturally and linguistically appropriate for the Deaf community. With over 98% of Deaf individuals worldwide not yet knowing Jesus, this congregation focuses on creating nurturing relationships with Christ, the Church, and Deaf culture. The ministry extends beyond Madison through numerous outreach programs, Zoom classes, and international training efforts across Africa and other regions.
