About Holy Family Catholic Church
Holy Family Catholic Church in Woodruff, Wisconsin, was established in 2004 through the merger of three historic parishes: St. Patrick in Minocqua (founded 1894), St. John Vianney in Lake Tomahawk (founded 1959), and Our Lady Queen of the Universe in Woodruff (founded 1955). The parish community is built on its Living Stones foundation, representing over 1,500 original members whose names were inscribed on stones embedded beneath the altar. Guided by the Spirit and strengthened by the Eucharist, Holy Family welcomes visitors as part of a celebrating people committed to sharing diverse gifts through love, worship, welcome, and service. The parish offers Saturday evening and Sunday Mass, with livestreaming available for those unable to attend in person, and maintains a strong connection to the Northwoods community it serves.
