About Woodruff Baptist Church
Woodruff Baptist Church is an independent Baptist congregation serving the communities of Woodruff, Minocqua, Arbor Vitae, and Hazelhurst in northern Wisconsin. Led by Pastor Scott Smith since 2011, the church describes itself as "the small church with the big heart" and is dedicated to helping families grow in their understanding of God and experience His blessing. The church offers multiple worship services throughout the year, including Sunday School, morning and evening worship services, and Wednesday Bible studies. The congregation welcomes visitors with a warm greeting and genuine interest in building connections, making it a place where people can learn and grow spiritually together in the greater Lakeland area.

Dress Code: People dress in a variety of ways from suits and ties to dresses to business casual to jeans; the church values your relationship with God more than how you are dressed. Service Format: The Morning Worship Service at 11 AM lasts about an hour and includes traditionally performed hymns and songs, prayer, Scripture reading, a time of greeting one another, and verse-by-verse preaching with personal application. Visitor Tips: Reserved parking is available along the west side of the building, someone will greet you at the door with a bulletin and friendly smile, an unstaffed nursery is available for young children down the steps to the left of the entrance, and you are welcome to fellowship with others after the service.
