About Chapel of the Transfiguration
Chapel of the Transfiguration is a rustic Episcopal chapel in Grand Teton National Park in Moose, about 15 miles from Jackson. Built in 1925, its first services were held on July 26 of that year. The chapel seats 65 people, with additional outdoor seating available when weather permits. Worship is offered on Sundays during the summer season, from Memorial Day through September, with Holy Communion at both the 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM services.
