What to Expect as a First-Time Visitor to Avondale Church of God

Welcome to Avondale Church of God! We are excited to have you join us and hope your visit is meaningful and enjoyable. Here's a quick guide to help you know what to expect:

Dress Code At Avondale Church of God, the dress code is casual and comfortable. You'll see a range of styles, from suits and dresses to jeans and t-shirts. The focus is on your heart, not your outward appearance, so wear what makes you feel relaxed and ready to worship.

Service Format Our Sunday morning services typically follow this structure:

9:30 am - Sunday School Classes are available for all ages, from children to adults. This is a great time to dive deeper into biblical teaching.

10:30 am - Worship Service The service begins with uplifting music and hymns, led by our talented worship team. This is followed by an inspirational message from our pastor. Services last around 60-75 minutes.

6:00 pm - Evening Service In the evening, we gather again for a more intimate time of prayer, teaching, and fellowship.

Wednesdays at 7:00 pm, we have a mid-week prayer meeting, and Fridays at 7:00 pm (except the 1st Friday), the youth group meets.

Tips for Visitors - Feel free to sit anywhere, ushers can help you find a seat. - Participate as much or as little as you're comfortable. You won't be singled out. - Don't worry about giving an offering unless you want to. Visitors are our guests. - Children are welcome in the main service, but we also have excellent children's programs. - Introduce yourself to our greeters, they can answer any other questions you may have.
