Saint Athanasius the Great is a Greek Orthodox parish located in Arlington, Massachusetts, serving the local Orthodox Christian community since 1964. Founded by first-generation Greek American families seeking to establish their own place of worship, the parish grew substantially over the decades and relocated to its current home at 4 Appleton Street in 2005, the former St. James the Apostle Roman Catholic Church. Led by Rev. Dr. Robert J. Archon, Ph.D., who has served as Proistamenos since September 2020, the parish offers a range of ministries including adult religious education, Greek language school, and a bilingual pre-school program called Little Halos.
