About Union University Church
Union University Church is a welcoming community church located at 5 Church Street in Alfred, New York, drawing members from many different faith backgrounds. Led by Rev. Dr. Eileen Borduin Vanderzwan, the church holds Sunday worship at 10:30 am and emphasizes listening to one another's ideas while honoring each faith experiences. Children and youth are cherished and integrated into the total life of the church, and service to the community and world forms a foundation of their ministry. The church fully embraces the belief that every person is made in the image of God and welcomes people of all races, sexual orientation, gender identity, and backgrounds into the full life of the congregation. A Church Center across the street houses offices, Sunday School classrooms, and a fellowship hall known as the King David Room.
