What to Expect: First-Time Visit to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Buffalo, NY

Dress Code: At Holy Trinity, we welcome you to come as you are. There is no strict dress code, so feel free to wear whatever makes you comfortable, whether that's casual clothes or more formal attire. The main thing is that you join us in worship.

Service Format: Our Sunday service starts at 10:00 AM and typically lasts around 60 minutes. The format includes:

- Greeting and opening hymn - Confession and forgiveness - Readings from the Bible - A sermon based on the readings - Prayers for the church and world - Communion (all are welcome to participate) - Closing hymn and blessing

We use a mix of traditional Lutheran liturgy and contemporary elements to create a meaningful, engaging worship experience. Bulletins are provided to guide you through the service.

Tips for Visitors: - Arrive 5-10 minutes early to get oriented and find a seat. - Don't worry about not knowing when to sit, stand, or respond - just follow the lead of those around you. - Feel free to participate as much or as little as you're comfortable with. - If you have children, there is a staffed nursery available, as well as a "children's corner" in the sanctuary. - After the service, stop by the Welcome Center to introduce yourself and pick up a visitor packet. - Don't hesitate to ask an usher or greeter if you have any other questions.
